Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tensor Research Group (“Tensor Research,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, protects and shares information when you visit our website or use our platform and software. We collect only what we need to run the services securely, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
1.Who we are and what this covers
This policy applies to:
- our public website at tenrs.com;
- our members' platform at app.tenrs.com, including sign-in, account settings and the programming interfaces the platform provides;
- our desktop software, Omega Terminal, and the services it connects to;
together, the “Services.” Access to the platform and the desktop software is by invitation only; there is no public sign-up. The policy does not cover third-party services you choose to connect, such as your brokerage, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Some optional features carry their own notice, which is shown to you before the feature is turned on.
2.Information we collect
Information you give us.
- Account details — your email address and, if you add them, your name and profile picture.
- Sign-in credentials — your password is processed by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form; we never see or store it in readable form. Every account uses two-factor authentication, and the authenticator secret is held by the same provider.
- Content you create — strategies, indicators, settings, saved layouts and other material you create or upload in the Services.
- Communications — what you send us when you contact us.
Information from accounts you connect.
- When you connect a brokerage or market-data account, we receive the credentials or access tokens needed to act on your instructions, which we store encrypted, and the account, balance, position and order information the features you use require.
- When the Services place, change or cancel an order on your behalf — at your instruction or by an automated strategy you have authorized — we keep a record of what was requested, when, by which strategy, and how the brokerage responded.
Information collected automatically.
- Technical and security logs — IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, the pages and endpoints requested, and sign-in events, recorded by our hosting and authentication providers.
- Usage records — counts of requests by feature and day, the market symbols requested, and the limits that apply to your account. We use them to keep the Services fair and secure and to show you your own usage.
- Desktop software status — whether Omega Terminal is linked to your account and connected, the version it runs, and the performance of its connection, such as latency.
On the public website. tenrs.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and makes no requests to third parties from your browser. Our hosting provider records standard request logs.
On your own device. Omega Terminal stores the market data it captures, its caches and its settings on your computer. That data stays on your device unless you choose to send it somewhere. Credentials the desktop software keeps are encrypted with your operating system's protected storage.
3.How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and operate the Services, including signing you in, running the features you use, and syncing between the desktop software and the platform;
- carry out actions you instruct or authorize, such as placing orders with a brokerage you have connected;
- protect the Services and our members — enforcing two-factor authentication, detecting and preventing unauthorized access, fraud and abuse, and applying usage limits;
- send you service messages, such as security alerts, password resets and notices about changes;
- maintain, troubleshoot and improve the reliability and performance of the Services;
- comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
6.AI features
Some features send the question you ask, and the data needed to answer it, to our AI model provider to generate a response. We send only what the feature needs, we do not use your content to train AI models, and you can use the Services without using AI features.
7.How long we keep information
- Account information is kept while your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
- Order records are kept for as long as the account exists, so that every automated trade can be accounted for.
- Usage records are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically.
- Credentials for a connected account are deleted when you disconnect it.
- Logs held by our providers are kept for their standard retention periods.
8.Security
Every account uses two-factor authentication. Information is encrypted in transit, and stored credentials and access tokens are encrypted at rest. Our database is reachable only by our own servers — never directly from a browser or the desktop software — and access to the Services can be paused or revoked immediately. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us right away.
9.Your choices and rights
You can:
- see and update your account details, and change your password and authenticator, in the platform's settings;
- disconnect any brokerage or data account at any time;
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it, or to close your account.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to know, to correct, to delete, to limit certain processing, or to appeal a decision we make about your request. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the address below. We will verify the request through your account, respond within the time the law requires, and never treat you differently for making it.
10.Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11.Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Wherever it is processed, we protect it as this policy describes.
12.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Services change. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is material, we will tell you through the Services or by email before it takes effect.
